Ibobi assures construction Wakf Board office

Acknowledging that the present office of Wakf Board is not in a good shape, Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh has assured that he would construct a proper building of the board if there is no land dispute at all.
Chief Minister O Ibobi was speaking at the inaugural function of a newly constructed office of Chairman of Wakf Board here today.
He further stated that the Wakf Board has been in existence since early days for the welfare of minority community.
The patta of the present land where the office of Wakf Board stands is in the name of Wakf Board.
If there is no land dispute in the area, then the State Government is ready to construct a new office of Wakf Board equipped with a Musfin Khana, VIP conference Hall, etc.
The Chief Minister further informed that the Government would try to take up all necessary measures to provide all the necessary requirements in the Minority muslim Girl's Hostel and the Wakf Board in consultation with the Chairman of the board and other leaders.
Presided over by MLA Mohammad Fajur Rahim, who is also the Chairman of Wakf Board, the function was also attended by Md Abdul Nasir, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries as Guest of Honour.
