India aids Myanmar

Moreh, May 22 2020:
To help tackle COVID-19, India today sent a consignment of medical equipment to Myanmar including 50 refrigerators, 20 autoclaves, four thermal scanners and 200 drip stands through Vice Consul Satyen Roy of the Consulate General of India, Mandalay, reports our correspondent.
The medical equipment were handed over to the Vice Consul at the Integrated Check Post, Moreh today who would hand over the equipment to the Government of Myanmar.
The vehicles engaged for carrying the medical equipment were disinfected by a team of Moreh Hospital who also screened the drivers.
Moreh ASP (Ops) M Amit, SDPO L Meghabarna, OC Dilip Kumar, ICP Manager Robin Gangte, Senior Immigration Officer Krisna Anand, Land Customs Officer Thangminlun Gangte and officers of 43 Assam Rifles were also present when the medical equipment were handed over to Vice Consul Satyen Roy.
