Imphal, May 22, 2013:
Manipur HC has not yet given a verdict on the case filed by three persons against the warrant of arrest issued by Manipur State Commission of Women in a domestic violence related case, said MSCW Member Secretary S Meghachandra in a press meet held at the Lamphelpat office of the Commission today.
He further said that the Commission had earlier issued warrant of arrest to Keisham Rojen Kumar, his wife Sarda and son James of Haobam Marak Keisham Leikai after they failed to turn up at the MSCW office despite being served summons twice in a domestic violence related case filed by one Chingtham Deviya of Haobam Marak Chingtham Leikai.
Manipur HC has just passed a stay order on the arrest warrant issued by MSC, but a final verdict is yet to be given by the Court, Meghachandra noted.
