National integration tour flagged in

A flagging in ceremony for the National integration cum religious tour under Op Sadbhavana conducted by 6 Assam Rifles under the aegis of 9 Sector Assam Rifles of Headquarter IGAR(South) in which 16 Meitei women from various sections of the society visited Delhi, Agra and Mathura was held today.
The tour was flagged in by Brig Amit Kabthiyal, SM, Commander, 9 Sector Assam Rifles at Govindaji Temple today wherein the team members shared their experiences with media personnel, informed a press release from PRO IGAR (S) .
The religious tour which was flagged off March 7 from Govindaji Temple by Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly, Y Khemchand visited numerous places of historical, religious and cultural importance namely the Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, Birla Mandir, Kalkaji Temple, Taj Mahal, Iskcon Temple, Mathura (birth place of Shri Krishna) to name a few during their eight days tour to Delhi, Agra and Mathura.
The participating members expressed profound gratitude to the Assam Rifles for organising this tour which helped them to gain firsthand experience of timeless spirituality and invaluable knowledge about the various places of religious and historical importance showcasing the diversity of the Nation, the release said.
