Two wild animals and a bird at PFA custody

Imphal, April 20 2020:
One Khetrimayum Robert from Mayang Imphal Bazar has handed over an injured civet (Moirang Sathibi) to Officer-in-charge of Mayang Imphal Police Station, Inspector O Joymangol, today.
The injured animal was rescued from Imphal-Mayang Imphal road, said a statement of People for Animal, Manipur.
Saying that the Inspector informed about the rescued animal to the PFA and the animal activist group is looking after it (civet), it added that the animal will be released after treatment.
On the other hand, a cub of leopard cat was rescued by Khundrakpam Romesh from Heirok Part-1.Continuing that the cub is also handed to them (PFA) by police, the PFA added that they will give its best effort to reunite the cub with its mother.
It also appealed all concerned to inform them if they have any information about the presence of leopard cat in their localities.
An individual from Thoubal Wangkhem also handed over one Indian scops owl to PFA, it added.
