Imphal, April 19 2018:
With regard to the news report about 34 fake attendants detected at JNIMS, the Indian Sacrifice Security Service (ISSS), Kongba Bazar has clarified that they outsourced 34 individuals as ward attendants to JNIMS on January 19, 2017 as per an agreement signed on the same day between JNIMS authority and Nongthombam Amit Meitei s/o N Ibohal of ISSS (power of attorney holder).
The 34 ward attendants have been still working at JNIMS and they have been paid salaries for eight months while salaries for six months are pending, according to a press release issued by ISSS secretary K Birbal Singh.
The agreement (signed on January 19, 2017) and the subsequent induction of 34 ward attendants were effected after the JNIMS authority issued an order to ISSS on January 17, 2017.The same order was issued to ISSS after completing due tender process, it claimed.
However, ISSS snapped all connections with the power of attorney holder N Amit Meitei since April 4, 2018.ISSS never authorised the 35 workers of the Brave Bronco to join service at JNIMS in 2016, it clarified.
It went on to ask how the HoDs/in-charge allowed the ward attendants to join service if the copies of their internal transfer and posting orders did not have signature of the Medical Superintendent.
