Complaints filed in HC against three Cong MLAs

Imphal, May 18 2012:
Complaints have been filed against three elected Congress MLAs in the Gauhati High Court alleging them with tampering the Electronic Voting Machine (EVMs) in the last elections to the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly.
The three elected Congress MLAs against whom the complaints have been filed are RK Anand of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa, M Prithviraj of Moirang A/C and T Manga Vaiphei of Henglep A/C.The complainants are K Rojenkumar, who was a candidate of Trinamool Congress in the last election from Naoriya Pakhanglakpa A/C; P Sharat, who contested in the election as NCP candidate in Moirang A/C and candidate of Trinamool Congress in Henglep A/C T Thangzalam Haokip.
The complainants alleged that the three Congress MLAs got elected on account of tampering the EVMs.
Along with admitting the complaints, a Principal Bench of the High Court has referred the case to Imphal Bench of Gauhati High Court.
