AMCO felicitates UPSC successful candidate

Imphal, July 17 2013:
All Manipur Christian Organisation (AMCO) organised a felicitation programme cum thanksgiving prayer for Samuel S Vaiphei, who succeeded in the UPSC Civil Service Examination, 2012 at the residence of its President Rev S Prim Vaiphei at New Lambulane here today.
Samuel, who is the son of Rev S Prim Vaiphei and Henjang Vaiphei, is an alumnus of St.
Stephen College, New Delhi.
During the function, Samuel recalled about the interview session of the UPSC examination and said that interviewer quizzed him on the difference between Gospel of Luke and Gospel of Mathew and relevance of the Bible on governance and administration.
In his word of encouragement, General Secretary of AMCO Fr TS Dominic exhorted the gathering specially Samuel to no longer see a person as Kuki, Naga or Meitei but as people created in the image of god.
Rev L Timothy noted that Samuel is now not only Rev Prim Vaiphei's son but AMCO's son, that is for all Manipur.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Rev Dr Hawlngam Haokip and the closing prayer was said by Pastor John Shimray.
