Man released after being electrocuted by AR

Two persons who was arrested last Friday by AR personnel near Bhubon High School, under Thanga a/c were released today after torturing and even electrocuting them, alleged one of the persons.
Family members and locals of the victim strongly condemned the act.
Thounaojam Rajen (52), of Moirang Khunnou, speaking to media persons, said that after a hard day work at the paddy field he went to a nearby liquor vendor and had some drinks in the evening.
After that he came back home and on the way met one Ingudam Sanju alias Priyo (37).They decided to roam about for a while and proceeded towards the Bhubon High School where they were stopped by a team of AR personnel.
The personnel caught both of them and took them to their camp at an unknown place.
The identities of the AR personnel are not known, but one of them spoke Manipuri language.
After taking them to a room they were tortured ruthlessly.
The personnel poured water was on their faces and even electrocuted them.
The AR personnel asked them about the whereabouts of Khangembam Amita s/o Kh Indrajit and told them to reveal the place where Amita's gun was hidden.
Rajen told the AR personnel that Amita was a distant relative and lives in Imphal and owns a Tata Sumo, but was unaware that his possessing gun.
They were later released on the same day at around 10:30 at Kumbi Thanga Lawai, Rajen said.
