Kpi CSOs raise separate administration call

Kangpokpi, May 11 2023:
The civil society organizations of Kangpokpi district today met the Interlocutor of the SoO talks with the United People's Front (UPF), and the Kuki National Organization (KNO), the two conglomerate organizations of the Kuki militants under tripartite talks with the Government of Manipur and Government of India in Kangpokpi district.

behalf of the civil society organizations said that in connection with the current Manipur unrest, we have met AK Mishra, the Interlocutor of UPF and KNO today and conveyed our stance very loud and clear.
He continued that our stance "no separate political administration, no rest" was made loud and clear.
"As we have conveyed our stance clearly and loudly, we also appealed to the Central Government to consider our sentiment and implement our clear-cut stance at the earliest", he asserted.
He further declared "we will not compromise our stand" under any circumtances.
The meeting was also attended by officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
Kuki Inpi Kangpokpi, Kuki Students' Organization Sadar Hills, Thadou Inpi Kangpokpi district, Thadou Students' Association Sadar Hills, Thadou Youth Association Sadar Hills, Zillai, Gangte Students' Organization, and other various civil bodies leaders also attended the meeting.
