MSU extends gratitude to State Govt

The Mao Students Union (MSU) expressed appreciation to the State Government for responding positively to its call to upgrade public healthcare services in Senapati district.
The student body noted the inauguration of different projects including a blood bank at the Senapati district hospital and blood storage at sub-district hospital Mao, Trauma Centre at district hospital Senapati yesterday during a Cabinet meeting held at Senapati district headquarters.
In a statement the Mao Students Union stated that it was made possible through the memorandum of understanding signed with the Government representatives and the Union on October 19.The tireless efforts of the Union has resulted in the positive development for the welfare of the people, said the student body and recalled the time when its former president A Mayili lost his life due to unavailability of facilities at SDH, Mao and district hospital Senapati.
The Union also extended its acknowledgement to the Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare and Deputy Commissioner Senapati for facilitating their appeal and extending continuous support to the Union in view of the emergent need in the district.
