Uripok Double murder case charge hearing rescheduled

Due to the transfer and posting of Additional District and Session Judge, Fast Track Court (Crime Against Women) Manipur, the charge hearing against accused Kh Hitler in connection with the Uripok double murder case, has been rescheduled on March 22.Before the transfer order was passed, the charge hearing of the double murder was held before the Court of A Noutuneshwari Devi, Additional District and Session Judge Fast Track Court (Crime Against Women) Manipur, on February 26 and the charge order had been kept reserved.
The accused Kh Hitler (31) s/o Kh Ibomcha of Uripok Khumanthem Leikai, was produced from the Sajiwa Central Jail for the charge hearing of the case.
Due to the transfer of the Additional District and Session Judge Fast Track Court (Crime Against Women) Manipur as the District and Session Judge on February 28 and the subsequent handing over the charge to the District and Session Judge Imphal East (in addition to her normal duties) by an order of the High Court of Manipur, the charge order was not announced yesterday and March 22 was fixed for consideration of the charges against the accused.
It may be mentioned that on June 27 last year, CM N Biren Singh inaugurated the Additional District and Session Judge Fast Track Court (Crime Against Women) at Lamphel Court complex with the objective of speedy and fast disposal of the pending cases of crime against women and children in the State.
