Imphal, April 05 2009:
In collaboration with the Lions Club of Imphal, 12 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) organised a free medical camp at Kamjong recently.
A total of 1900 patients including 823 female, 616 male and 436 children were checked-up and given medicines during the camp.
Sixteen civil doctors along with OC 13 Dental Unit of AR and three doctors of 12 AR participated in the camp.
Simultaneously, 29 AR of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) organised a medical camp for the villagers of Shaibol village.
A team of Medical Officer and Nursing assistant attended the medical camp.
More than 125 adults and children from Shaibol and adjoining villages were treated and medicines were also distributed, a press release issued by the PRO of IGAR (South) stated.
