Thoubal, November 03 2016:
The students' union of Waikhom Mani Girls College, Thoubal, has demanded the upgradation of the college into a full-fledged Government college today.
Speaking to media persons in a press conference held at the college today, the union general secretary M Geetarani Devi said the college has been in existence for about 36 years now.
Approximately 2537 students are registered under the college.
Citing the various achievements of the college in the 36 long years of its existence, Geetarani said it is high time the State Government approve the upgradation of the college into a full-fledged Government college.
