KCP-MC (Lalumba) cadre reveals gruesome details

In a gruesome revelation, a cadre of KCP-MC (Lalumba) has disclosed that he had served cooked human flesh of a cadre of another faction to his comrades inside 7th Manipur Rifles complex, Khabeisoi in January 2012 .
The ghastly act came to light during the interrogation of three arrested cadres of KCP (Lalumba) by the police recently.
A reliable source said that three cadres of KCP-MC (Lalumba) namely, Wahengbam Ramananda alias Rousaw alias Sousaw (39) s/o (L) W Biren of Kontha Ahallup Makha Leikai, Nongthombam Noren alias Ashok (42) s/o Chaoba of Heingang Mayai Leikai and Thingujam Gopen (40) s/o (L) Th Shamu of Bashikhong Mamang Leikai were arrested by a team of Imphal West district police commandos during a frisking drive from Khurai Salanthong area on November 18 last.
Although, KCP-MC (Lalumba) is currently under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Government with all its cadres lodged inside the complex of 7th Manipur Rifles, Khabeisoi, they were found indulging in extortion, transportation of weapons and kidnapping, said a source.
Later, they were handed over to Lamphel police station for further investigation and during the course of interrogation, Ramananda allegedly revealed that they had killed a cadre of KCP (Nando) identified as Tomba of Kwakeithel Moirangpurel and cooked his flesh to serve to their cadres lodged at 7th MR complex as per the order of their leader Lalumba in January 2012.Ramananda further revealed that he joined UNLF in 1995 before he joined KCP-MC (Lalumba) in 2003 .
He said that he had served a jail term of one year under NSA after he was arrested by a team of Imphal East district police commandos regarding abduction of a non-local in 2013 .
Ramananda further revealed that he went to Dimapur after KCP-MC (Lalumba) inked an MoU with the Government.
During his stay in Dimapur, he heard about awarding capital punishment to self styled private Kiran for his alleged involvement in a rape case.
Ramananda further revealed that Kiran's body was buried at Saikul area.
After he returned from Dimapur, he joined the cadres of KCP-MC (Lalumba) and was lodged inside the complex of 7th MR, Khabeisoi.
In January 2012, cadre of KCP (Nando) namely Tomba of Kwakeithel Moirang Purel, who was arrested by a Central paramilitary force, was handed over to them inside 7th MR complex.
Later, as per the order of their leader Lalumba, Tomba was killed by him inside the complex and he served the cooked flesh of Tomba to around 30 cadres of KCP-MC (Lalumba) lodged there, Ramananda revealed.
Meanwhile, Wahengbam Ramananda, Nongthombam Noren and Thingujam Gopen have been produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal West under FIR number 42 (11) 2015 Lamphel police station under Section 20 UA (P) Act this afternoon.
While Ramananda and Noren have been remanded to Judicial custody, Gopen has been released on bail.
After Ramananda has been sent to the judicial custody, a team of Imphal police station formally arrested Ramananda after taking due permission from the Court regarding an abduction case of a man from Keishamthong Laishom Leirak in March 2009 .
A case under FIR number 97 (3) 2009 of Imphal police station under Section 365/34 IPC r/w 16/20 UA ( P ) Act has been taken up against Ramananda.
He is likely to be produced before the Court tomorrow.
It may be mentioned that KCP-MC (Lalumba) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Government on August 6, 2010 .
Around 160 cadres led by its leader Lalumba gave in with 39 different weapons as per the ground rules of the MoU before the Government.
After they underwent a rehabilitation session outside the State for three months, they have been residing inside 7th MR complex, Khabeisoi.
