NESO chairman Samuel Jyrwa told NNN that this was not the first time the people from the North East have been done to death in a brutal way in the national capital.
He said NESO is following up the killing of Akha Shaloni and will act accordingly.
Samuel Jyrwa demanded the booking of all the five culprits and give befitting punishment by the government.
ANSAM president Seth Satshang demanded a clear and effective policy to protect the North East community in the mainland India.
He said time and again the people from the NE region have been discriminated and killed but the government failed to come out with concrete policies.
