The KNO/KLA has today issued a rejoinder on the news item wherein GSO-GHQ reportedly claimed of physical assault saying, disciplinary was carried out against some individuals of Siempat village as they were giving shelter to LTT - a non-SoO group 'engaged in various criminal activities' .
A statement issued by the outfit said that stern warning was given to Siempat villagers to desist from giving shelter to LTT, who it alleged are engaged in criminal activities like kidnapping and killing of innocent civilians in Longpi area and collection of licenses SBBL guns and forcing the village chiefs to purchase 100 cartridges each.
However, rather than heeding to their warning, some of them are engaged even as an informer, leading KNO/KLA to initiate the disciplinary action, it maintained.
To maintain peace and harmony in the area, the outfit also appealed to GSO-GHQ for co-operation and asked them to report to the state forces if LTT cadres are intimidating them rather than cast slur on them.
