KYKL's 3rd Party Congress

The proscribed revolutionary group Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) held its 3rd Party Congress from March 13 to 30 last.
According to a statement issued by its Secretary, Publicity and Research A Yaiphaba today, the 18 days long party congress discussed the present state of revolutionary movement in the state, problems and threats faced by the revolutionary organisations and the role of revolutionary organisations against such threats and problems.
The congress unanimously endorsed that liberation of Kangleipak from Indian Union is the only solution to the problems and inconveniences facing by people.
It also resolved to continue its revolutionary movement against India government with more strength and hand over the responsibility of chalking out detailed plans and tactics to the Central Committee of the organization, the statement disclosed.
The congress also instituted a 10-member Central Committee for proper and effective functioning of the party.
N Oken, K Korouhanba and A Yaiphaba were respectively elected as Chairman, General Secretary and Publicity and Research Secretary of the committee, the statement added.
