MMS sets record straight

The Principal of Maria Montessori School Koirengei has refuted the claims made by UN ACCO School, Khongman, that one of its students, Mrilina Senjam is the State topper in the Class XII exams 2018 conducted by CBSE.
A press release issued by the Principal of Maria Montessori School today explained that the school topper of Maria Montessori School, Somnath Khaidem, scored 483 marks out of 500, while Mrilina Senjam's score is 482 .
It further claimed that the news that the highest score among CBSE schools in the State is 482, was carried by few local dailies and even an interview of the said student was aired by a news channel as the CBSE topper on May 27 .
The Principal further conveyed that she had requested the authority of UNACCO School to clarify regarding the situation but in vain.
She however mentioned that there is no official claim by Maria Montessori School that 483 is the highest score in the State as CBSE results are not declared State wise.
