Bike rally taken out against drug menace

Imphal, March 29 2023:
Student Anti-drugs Task Force, which has been formed jointly by Manipur Students' Federation (MSF) and another students' body, took out a bike rally against drug menace in the state on Wednesday.
The bike rally began from the Western Gate of Kangla, here, and ended at KM Blooming Higher Secondary School, Khangabok.
Around 600 volunteers took part in the rally carrying placards inscribed with slogans like 'Let's stand together against drugs & poppy plantation', 'Save Manipur, Save Forest', 'Save Manipur from drugs', 'Let's us eradicate drug menace completely from the state' ana 'Let's stand together against drug for future generation'.
Speaking in a public meet ing was held at KM Blooming Higher Secondary School, MSF president Maibam Julesh Khuman informed that the students took out the rally with an objective to save the youth of the state from drug menace.
Stating that Manipur is facing serious problem of substance abuse, he stressed on the need for extending support to the war on drugs campaign launch by N Biren government.
The anti-drugs task force fully supports the campaign launched by the government, he said while appealing to the people for supporting the movement of the task force against drug menace.
