Details of NLCPR Projs to be furnished to DoNER Ministry

The State Government is all set to furnish a shelf of projects for infrastructural development under Non Lapsable Central Pool of Resources (NLCPR) for the year 2013-14 to the Ministry of DoNER.
According to a highly placed source, the Additional Chief Secretary (RD & PR/ Tribal Affairs and Hills/ Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution); Additional Chief Secretary (Forest and Environment/MOBC and SC); Principal Secretaries; Commissioners/Secretaries and Heads of Government Departments have been conveyed about the step of the State Government through a notification issued in this regard by the State Planning Department.
According to the notification, the proposals along with the certificates of the projects proposed under NLCPR or projects proposed to be taken up under any other funding mechanism of the Centre or the State should be furnished in both hard and soft copies to the State Planning Department by February 20 .
It further informed that the proposals should be prepared in the format indicated for Concept paper required for submission to the DoNER Ministry.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that 10 projects which have been retained by the Ministry of DoNER have been withdrawn and it has been directed that the concerned AD, if considered necessary, may propose for inclusion in State's Priority List for NLCPR for 2013-14, based on updated DPRs.
The retained projects related to infrastructural development of three Government Colleges and one Government-Aided College of Manipur in Imphal West, Senapati and Impha;l East; improvement of Kamjong to Maokot road in Ukhrul; construction of 2500 MT and two numbers of 600 MT FCS Godowns at Sipuikon, Sibapurikhal and Tipaimukh villages in Churachandpur; construction of four lane bridge at Sanjenthong over Imphal river; modernization and strengthening of Government Polytechnic, Takyelpat in Imphal West; additional infrastructure for National Sports Academy at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex; construction of Sadar hills Sports Complex at Kangpokpi; installation of 2x5 MVA 33/11 KV SS along with the associated 33 KV line and related works at Kakwa; construction of RCC Bridge over Barak River at Nallong along the road to Peren in Tamenglong district and the construction of RCC Bridge at Komlathabi along Pallel Chandel road.
