Imphal, February 27 2020:
A special combined team of Manipuri Students Federation (MSF) and Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) was able to seize a large number of notes and other incriminating items during a drive conducted at Samurou High School, Wangoi Higher Secondary School and Ku-mari High School, Hiyang- thang today, said MSF publicity secretary Sundar Khuman at a press meet.
Speaking to media persons, Sundar continued that when the team visited the aforementioned examination centres, the atmosphere of the examination halls was beyond words and raised an important question as to whether parents, teachers, OCs were collaborating to promote use of unfair means during the examination.
Further alleging that one L Sarat, the OC in charge at Kumari High School, even made some rude comments to the visiting inspection team, Sundar said that MSF condemns the incident in the strongest term.
MSF will continue to undertake such drives in the future, he said, appealing to the parents and all others concerned to cooperate with the student body.
