Imphal, May 26 2013:
The Indian business delegation has finally left Tamu Immigration Office today for Monywa to attend the proposed North East India-Myanmar Business Conclave.
The 36 member team reached Moreh yesterday.
Their Passports were checked at the Tamu Immigration office today and later proceeded for Mongya around 3:30 pm.
The delegation was held up at Tamu Immigration office for almost one and a half hour as the immigration officers insisted on holding back the Passports of the Indian delegates.
After the delegation team told the immigration officers the problems likely to be faced without the Passport in Myanmar, their Passports were ultimately handed over to them.
The delegation which comprises of the Ministers of Manipur including the Commerce and Industries Minister of Mizoram felt really disgusted at the manner they had been dealt at the Immigration office in Tamu.
