Panel discussion on current education system held

Eduvate India 2011, initiated by Mexus Education, brought together prominent educationists and academicians from around Imphal for panel discussion to express their perspective on adding value to current education system through technological innovations.
Several eminent academicians attended and presided this panel discussion.
Eduvate India, hosted by Mexus Education, is a one-of-its-kind of edeavour that offers a vent to academicians to voice their opinions and concerns.
Over the last one year, Mexus has incorporated the recommendations of panel in their development and launched innovative products like interactive touch-read pens, curriculum-based comic book etc.
Director Anil Goyal of Mexus Education, speaking on the occasion, elaborated the initiative of the Mexus and said it offer a platform to maximize the engagement of students in academics and learning in and beyond the school.
"The basic objective of this interaction is to address the most crucial classroom challenge � meaning different intelligences of their classes comfortably in the brief 40 minutes of their session.
Mexus strives to develop products that would help teachers address disparity in aptitude of students while students remain engaged in subject topics through entertaining media like videos and animations," he said.
The panel discussed the gaps in the current educational system and how technological innovations would make learning more qualitative, interesting and meaningful experience.
The panelists were of unanimous opinion that information and communications technologies are improving the quality of life in every aspect of life.
