MDPF releases wall poster on National Voters' Day

Manipur People's Democratic Front (MDPF) released a wall poster in connection with the 71st 'National Voters' Day' celebration today at Manipur Press Club.
The wall poster was released by former MLA Nameirakpam Nodiachand Singh.
Sapam Samungou, secretary of MDPF, said at the function that January 25 is celebrated as 'National Voters' Day' to commemorate the foundation of the Election Commission of India.
The wall poster for the upcoming year long campaign launched by MPDF is being released keeping in mind the fact that this day is a very important day and has a very intricate relation with the public or voters, he added.
He added that the year long campaign will be held at every nook and corner of the State to give awareness to the voters to exercise their voting rights carefully and truthfully.
Sapam Samungou also said that it is only when the voters exercise their right to vote in the right way that the State will move towards a truly democratic elected Government that will eventually lead the State towards development.
He also urged the voters to stay away from people trying to lure them with bribes and to save the 'voting rights' offered by the Constitution.
