RPI (A) Manipur State Committee office to be inaugurated tomorrow

Republican Party of India (A) National president Ramdas Athawale will come to Imphal tomorrow and inaugurate the office of RPI (A) Manipur State Committee.
Speaking to media persons at Keishampat Churachandpur parking today, RPI (A) Assam State president Hitesh Deori said that Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, who is also the National president of the party, Ramdas Athawale will also take part in a meeting of the RPI (A).
He will also discuss the problems of the disabled persons as well as problems of the party.
Hitesh Deori continued that a North East level committee called North East Republican United Committee has been formed with the aim of uniting the 8 States of the North East region and added that the committee will work as per the ideology of the party founder, Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Mahesh Thounaojam has been selected as the general secretary of the committee, he said adding that the party high command selected Mahesh due to his contributions and activities for the people.
He will also be the president of RPI (A) Manipur State Committee, Hitesh Deori added.
On the other hand, Mahesh Thounaojam said that the party National President Ramdas Athawale will visit the State tomorrow to mainly see the needs and wants of the people of the State.
The Union Minister will also officially inaugurate the party office at Keishampat Churachandpur parking, Mahesh said adding that Ramdas Athawale plans to visit Manipur regularly in the future.
He will reach Imphal at 1.55 pm tomorrow and inaugurate the RPI (A) office at 2 pm.
He will then take part in the RPI (A) Manipur State Committee meeting which will be held at Lamboikhongnangkhong at 2.30 pm.
Around 5000 people might participate in the event, Mahesh added.
The Union Minister will Imphal on September 26, at 9.45 am, Mahesh said.
