UNC confirms tripartite talks on May 30

Imphal, May 23, 2011:
The third round of tripartite talks between the Centre, state and the UNC will be held on May 30 .
The UNC confirmed it when they asked the people to pray for blessings from the Almighty.
The UNC said the talks on the demand for an "alternative arrangement" has been scheduled on May 30 at Senapati.
This will be the third tripartite talks, the UNC said.
The UNC in a statement claimed that the process of dialogue through tripartite talks is being taken under the initiative of the Union Government.
"Effort is being taken to hold consultations involving the cross section of the Naga civil society before the talks.
We are sending this information with an earnest appeal for holding special prayer service/mass in the churches under your Association/Regional Organisation on Sunday, May 29 so that the same will take place with the blessings of the Almighty God and lead to fulfillment of our quest for self governance," the UNC statement added.
