Manipur boy tops Nagaland Board exam

Imphal, May 21 2013:
A boy from the State namely Md Helal-uddin Shah has topped the High School Leaving Certificate Examination-2013 conducted by Nagaland Board of School Education.
Helal-uddin is the son of Md Islauddin Shah and Sanarembi of Borayangbi under Kumbi Assembly Constituency in Bishnupur district, but presently staying at Dimapur along with his father who works as a teacher in a private school there.
He is a student of MGM Higher Secondary School, Dimapur and scored 96.16 percent marks with a total of 577 out of 600 .
Helal-uddin is the fourth among five children.
His father is a private school teacher at Dimapur and his mother is a home-maker.
He has been studying at Dimapur since Class-I.

The topper intends to pursue his higher studies at Delhi and join the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) after passing Class-XII.
This brilliant boy also wants to become an IAS officer.
Helal-uddin finds Nagaland more conducive than Manipur in terms of academics as there are fewer bandhs and blockades and syllabuses are also well covered timely in schools.
Meanwhile, All Manipur Muslim Students' Organization (AMMSO) has congratulated Helal-uddin on securing first position in Nagaland Board Examination.
AMMSO will also felicitate him along with the toppers of Manipur Board namely Wangmayum Mustakim, Sohrab Jubeir and DP Sakib.
