Skill development programme of LGBT community held

Imphal, November 19 2020:
An interaction programme on the skill development of LGBT Community was held at the office of Ya-all at Tera Sapam Leirak today.
It was jointly organised by Manipur State Livelihoods Mission and Ya-all.
Speaking on the occasion Kh Boby Singh Chief Operating Officer (Skills), Manipur State Livelihoods Mission said that the programme has been conducted in the interest of the youths of LGBT community in the State to generate income thereby making them self reliant.
He further added that the Ministry of Rural Development has agreed to provide skill development training to around one lakh five thousand people in 2018.Till now around thirty thousand people have been trained under the said venture.
