2 Indian Air Force fighter planes land in Imphal

Imphal, November 17 2015:
Two Indian Air Force (IAF) Sukhoi Su-30 fighter aircraft landed at Imphal International Airport on Tuesday for around one and half hours.
The two fighter aircraft arrived at around 9.15 am and remained at the airport for around one and half hours before taking off at around 10.45 am.
Sources said that this is the second time that IAIF fighter planes have landed at the airport after Imphal airport was upgraded into an international airport.

The first Indian fighter jet landed at the Imphal airport was last year.
The source further informed that Tuesday's landing of two Sukhoi Su-30s was part of the military exercise of IAF.
Though the runway of the Imphal airport needs further development, the IAF pilots are reported to have given positive feedback for the battle ready war planes, added the source.
