Youth Cultural Integration Festival inaugurated

A seven-day Youth Cultural Integration Festival was kick-started today at Khuman Lampak Youth Hostel.
The inaugural function of the festival, organised jointly by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India and Bharat Sevak Samaj, Manipur State Branch, was graced by State Home Minister Gaikhangam; Vice-chairman of Bharat Sevak Samaj, Manipur State Branch, N Chaoba as the chief guest and president respectively.
Among others, the function was also attended by Chairperson of Manipur State Social Welfare Board, RK Nayansana and Associ-ate Professor of JNIMS Psychiatric department, Dr K Shantibala as the guests of honour while Associate Professor Promita Sorokhaibam of MU were the resource persons.
Speaking at the occasion, Home Minister Gaikhangam said there is nothing worst than self-deceit.
He said if one deceived fellow human beings, it could be reconciled by admitting the fault.
But self-deceit is irreconcilable, he said while exhorting the youth to watch their conduct closely.
