CWAF Festival ends

The CWAF Festival-2021 organised by the Cultural Workers & Activists Forum (CWAF) at Hongnemshang Auditorium, NT Theatre in Changangei Uchekon concluded, today.
The festival began on January 13 to promote Manipur cultural identity.
Speaking as the president of the valedictory ceremony, Langthabal AC MLA Karam Shyam said that the presence of a cultural organisation like CWAF is an exigency to highlight issues concerning art and culture whenever arise.
The MLA also appealed to the gathering to treat the artists of the State with utmost respect and also support them whenever a need arises.
The guest of honour of the function, social activist, Dr S Manaoton said that art and platform is a medium which can play a vital role in establishing a better Manipur.
MD of RK Fortune Developers Private Limited, RK Rameshor; State president of RPI (A), Thounaojam Maheshwar and social worker Laitonjam Jayananda also took part in the programme.
Artists who presented cultural items during the festival were encouraged by giving gifts and certificates by the organiser.
