Imphal, September 13 2013 :
While asserting that a colonial power will always try to suppress any sort of independence movement, the proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has revealed the various strategies allegedly taken up by the Government of India to suppress the revolutionary movement in Manipur.
In a press statement, Roben Khuman, Secretary Publicity of the outfit, stated that there are normally two ways in which a revolutionary movement in the state or country suppressed by the coloniser.
One is through the oppressive means and then again by supplying foods and carrying out free treatment for people as if it cares for their welfare and the second method is by vividly showing the impacts of revolutionary movement.
The second strategy is, however, a bit confusing to the general public.
Elaborating on the second strategy, the statement maintained that the Indian Government is creating communal riot in the State and there is no part of the North East where there is no communal conflict.
Because in every conflict there is always class structure and struggle.
The conflict can be settled with the help of the common people and history is proof to this fact.
Then again, the policy of the Indian Government to draw the youths of the State into drugs so that they get addicted to it.
In the process they get infected with AIDS and die ultimately.
By this way, the whole youth generation is destroyed and this this is the reason why Ministers, Army personnel and Police are all involved in drug business.
However, since the HIV factor would spread widely in the country, the Indian Government again started to please the youths of the State and begin to provide them with sports equipments to encourage sports movement in the State.
That is why Manipur is becoming good in the field sports.
This whole process is done with an agenda.
They make the youths good in sport and the best ones are recruited in the security forces.
They also try to recruit as much as security forces as they could so that these youths could not be recruited in any of the UG groups, the statement maintained.
It went on to state that the faulty education system of the State has also led the educated person to go the wrong path and indulge in corruption.
This is the impact of bad education in the State.
Moreover, the Indian Government is trying to pull apart the Meira Paibis of the State who are there to face any sort of issues crippling the State and they have managed to succeed in this attempt to a certain extent.
All these relentless efforts of the Indian Government to suppress the people's movement through various unfair means is a move to destroy Manipur and the people of the State should remain alert at all times and cooperate in the freedom movement launched by RPF, the outfit pleaded.
