Body fished out

Imphal, July 12 2020:
The body of a woman was found floating in the Imphal river near the Northern side of Sanjenthong this morning at about 8.30.Police personnel posted at the area first saw the body.
According to a police statement, the exact cause of death is not yet known.
The spot where the body was found has been inspected by the Mobile Forensic Unit and the body was later fished out from the river.
Post-mortem was conducted at RIMS morgue with video coverage and in the presence of Executive Magistrate, IW.
The body is kept at RIMS morgue for identification and it will be disposed of if no one claims it on or before 5 pm of July 15 .
The deceased woman is wheatish in complexion with a round face, black coloured hair with a medium length, medium built with a height of 5'3'' (162 cm).
She was wearing rings on both ears on the upper lobes, with one white colour long pants (Nylon), white colour T-shirt, one wrist belt of plastic chain yellow in colour on the left hand.
