Classrooms inaugurated

Imphal, February 09 2019:
Education Minister Thokchom Radheshyam inaugurated the classrooms of Laphupat Tera High School, Laphupat Tera today.
Speaking at the event, the Minister said that making the young minds and the children good and humane through education, is the most important task.
He assured that whatever help needed from the Government side will be provided for the betterment of the students and the school.
The Minister appreciated the land donors for the school and the teachers for their dedication and sacrifices made to impart education to the students coming from the area and surrounding villages.
He said that there no child wants to be left out from getting education but due to shortcomings and lack of facilities their dreams and wishes could not be fulfilled.
Radheshyam was speaking at the inauguration function of school classroom and observation of Saraswati Puja at Laphupat Tera High School, Laphupat Tera.
He said that with the advancement in technology, education also needs to make progress when it comes to the infrastructure of the schools.
He urged all the stakeholders to work for the betterment of the children and appealed to the teachers to dedicate themselves to provide education as their primary responsibility and not to engage in other business.
The Minister stressed that the elders need to provide a good path for the children and added that the teachers, students and guardians are the three important pillars of the society.
Children should be encouraged and provided their needs to ease them in receiving a good and wholesome education.
The programme was attended by the Deputy Speaker, Manipur Legislative Assembly, also the MLA, Mayang Imphal A/C, Kongkham Robindro Singh, concerned officials, teachers, members of managing committee and students.
Later the Ministerial team visited the N Tomchou Higher Secondary School, Mayang Imphal.
