Special outreach programme held

A one day special outreach programme on Ayushman Bharat was organised at Takhel Panchayat House, Takhel, Imphal East district by Field Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India today.
M Ningthem Singh, Pradhan, Takhel GP attended the event as chief guest with L Olympus, District Coordinator, Ayushman Bharat, Imphal East as the resource person, said a statement of Thokchom Anthony, Field Publicity Officer, Field Outreach Bureau, Government of India.
Speaking at the event, M Ningthem Singh urged the department concerned to expedite work to deliver Prime Minister's letter on Ayushman Bharat for the village.
During the interaction and communication programme at the model village adopted by K Bhabananda Singh, MP Rajya Sabha under Sanshad Aadarsh Gram Yojana, the resource person explained that the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna (RSBY) beneficiaries can also avail the benefit of Ayushman Bharat which provides cashless assistance of upto Rs 5 lakh on secondary and tertiary hospitalisation to entitled families.
W Asha Devi, Uppa Pradhan, Takhel, Y Nandini Devi and Y Surjit Ward Members also attended the special outreach programme on Ayushman Bharat.
An on the spot quiz was also held, said the statement of the Filed Publicity Officer.
