The NCTE had served the DM College of Teacher Education several show cause notice to recruit adequate teachers, claimed DESAM accusing the authorities concerned for not taking up steps in time to avoid the seat reduction.
The DMCTE have only 14 teachers when it should have 32, asserted DESAM expressing apprehension that the college may be shut down in future.
