Imphal, October 27 2013:
Manipur's popular alternative rock band ReCycle has come out with a well-framed and designed music video, which was launched here this evening.
The band's first ever music video named 'True Lies' was formally premiered at the cozy Imphal Movie Club at Thangal Bazar in the heart of town where ReCyle and its brother band 'The Dirty Strikes' display a couple of heart throbbing tracks for their music loving audience and fans.
Though the nomenclature of the music video was named after James Cameron's American action comedy starring Arnold Schwarzegger and Jamei Lee Curtis, the three and half minute long video has a different colour and taste with a regional touch as the video tries to narrate the story of corruption filled society in the region.

"We are trying to find out our own way of music by creating an independent music scene (of the region)", says Bangalore-based sound engineer Tuljit Ksh who engineered the video in association with his designer colleague Laishram Rahul.
"We've unique potential and materials.
We need proper packaging to cater the global audience", he added.
A product of National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Rahul also shared similar sentiment, and informed that it took about 2 months to make the just three and half minute long music video with another colleague Korou Khundrakpam's camera work, etc.
The music album will be officially releasing on YouTube without delay once the network is okay, says the founding member and Rhythm player cum Lead guitar Bode Paonam of the seven year old band ReCycle which has Rokung Makunga as the vocal, Deepak Ningthoujam as the bassist and Somendro Soram on the Drums.
On March 24 last, the band had released its 5 sets of EP tracks which was recorded at Shallow River Studios in Imphal and it was Mixed & Mastered by Jeet Singh Ksh in Bangalore while Album Artwork was done by Panthouba Sagolsem of Bicycle Society.
