Field visit and public hearing prog held

Social and Educational Welfare Organisation (SEWO) organised a 'filed visit and public hearing' programme at Hayellabuk Mamang Leikai today.
Chairperson of Manipur State Minorities Commission Dr Syed Burhanuddin, president of SEWO Md Yasin, secretary MSMC Md Abdul Hakim, member Khangabok Part - I GP Karimuddin attended the event as presidium members.
Speaking at the event, Syed Burhanuddin highlighted the various programmes of the Government of India to uplift the minorities.
He highlighted the Prime Minister's New 15 Point Programme and the benefits associated with it.
He urged the people and minority communities of the State to avail the benefits of the various schemes of the Government.
He urged the people and youth to go through the official website of the Ministry of Minority Affairs and visit the MOBEDS and MOBC offices for informations of schemes and programmes concerned.
Commenting on the irregularities of the scholarships for students, he informed that the transactions/applications are done online to eliminate any wrongdoings in the processes.
He encouraged the minority student community to apply for the scholarship schemes they are entitled to without hesitations that there were irregularities in the past years.
He also encouraged people to derive maximum benefit from the Go To Village Mission of the State Govt and called for unity and peace.
