Senapati, April 16 2018:
The Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister N Biren Singh, urging to upgrade the existing Senapati Government aided Junior High School to a full-fledged Government High School.
A press release issued by president and general secretary of SDSA stated that there is no Government High School within the Senapati District HQs, except a Government aided Junior High School.
Around 35 villages are located in and around Senapati District HQ with a total population of 479148, according to the 2011 census, the statement added.
Considering the larger interest of the people, especially the student community who comes to the school from far flung villages, the Senapati District Students' Association has appealed the State Government to upgrade the existing Senapati Government aided Junior High School into a full fledged Government High School at the earliest.
The association also lauded the effort and achievement of the Govt under N Biren's leadership.
