AMTDGF extends gratitude to Govt for releasing MGNREGS funds

Imphal, March 13 2023: The All Manipur Tribal's Development Grievances Forum (AMTDGF) expressed immense gratitude to the Government of Manipur for releasing the remaining balance fund under MGNREGS to all the 16 districts of Manipur on the eve of Yaoshang Festival.

AMTDGF in a press release appealed to the State Government and its office functionaries to initiate necessary measures so as to clear pending liabilities and to take up new works under MGNREGA in the larger interest of registered Job Card holders of Manipur.

The Forum also expressed belief that the Material Component under MGNRGA shall be sanctioned by the Union Govt to the State Govt and the Forum assured all forms of support and co-operation to the State Government in ensuring successful implementation of works under MGNREGA.

AMTDGF further maintained that it is not against the present incumbent Government since it has been working to address and raise the grievances of the public to the Government.
