Imphal, December 02 2011:
While terming the bomb blast at the gate of Sangai Festival which claimed an innocent life and injured four others as an inhuman act, the Coordination Committee of seven UG groups (KCP, KYKL, PREPAK, PREPAK(Pro), RPF, UNLF & UPPK) in a press statement condemned the cowardly act of terrorism.
It also stated that the 36 hours general strike called against the visit of Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi will be shortened to 6 pm of December 3 .
CorCom stated that the bomb blast was not related with any of the revolutionary groups within the CorCom while adding that no true revolutionary group who aim for the welfare of the general public will indulge in such inhuman activities.
People of the state have witnessed many such activities in the past which were carried out by the Indian armies or their collaborators only to defame the true image of revolution in the state.
It further stated that the statement of the Governor of Manipur and the Chief Minister who talked about imposition of AFSPA in the state clearly showed that the inhuman incident was an act of the Indian security forces.
Urging the people to know the secret agenda of the Indian security forces to dismantle the true revolutionary movements, the statement appealed to the people of the state to cooperate with the revolutionary organisations.
