Assam Rifles fetes Rohan Agarwal

Churachandpur Sector under the aegis of IGAR (South) felicitated environmental activist Rohan Agarwal in Tuibong, Churachandpur district on June 23 .
A release issued by PRO of IGAR(S) informed that Rohan Agarwal, a resident of Nagpur, Maharashtra has been undertaking a journey to spread awareness on environment conservation by walking and hitchhiking.
So far, Rohan has covered about 10,000 Km on foot and 40,000 Km across 23 States by hitchhiking in a time span of over 660 days.
During his three days visit to Churachandpur, Rohan Agarwal interacted with students & CSOs.
In a brief interaction, Rohan Agarwal informed that he is an adherent of the ancient India Gurukul culture of journey called 'Destan' to understand different religions, languages, cultures and people to broaden one's outlook on life and to be a good person.
He further stated that he undertook the journey with a mission to make people aware about plastic pollution and to spread the message of humanity & brotherhood.
