AR organises medical check-up at Sajik Tampak

As part of the ongoing process of development and welfare of the locals, a 'Medical check-up cum Awareness' camp was organised for the students of St Mary's School in village Khullen by 35 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) .
The students of the St.
Mary's School benefited immensely from the camp.
About 450 students participated in the Awareness camp in which Medical Officer 35 Assam Rifles delivered lecture on health promotion and suggested measures for prevention of diseases like Malaria, Jaundice, Hepatitis and other water borne diseases which are more prevalent in monsoon season.
Medical and paramedical staff of 35 Assam Rifles also provided first aid medicines for students of St Mary's school.
The principal and school staff appreciated the effort and opined that more such welfare activities should be conducted for overall progress of the region.
