Imphal, September 19 2011:
Paper II of TET which was held on September 16 has been rescheduled on September 25 for all those candidates who could not appear in the said paper on that day.
Addressing the media at a press conference held at RMSA office complex in Babupara, J Sureshkumar, Principle Secretary, Education (S) said that those candidates who were not able to appear in the paper II of TET should submit their original admit cards at the office of the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM) between the September 21 and 23 and get a new admit card.
Candidates without the new admit card will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
He further said that the problem of roll numbers of some candidates not being in the list in the examination centres came up because the candidates had not filled up the forms properly and submitted to the concerned authority and also because BOSEM had also mistakenly given the admit card to those candidates for paper II.
Due to complaints by some candidates, their admit cards for paper II were cancelled and new admit cards for paper I was issued to them.
But some candidates came to the examination hall with the cancelled admit cards and hence their roll numbers were not in the list with the centres.
He went on to say that the evaluation process of the answer scripts of paper I has been completed and the answer scripts for paper II is in process.
The results of the TET will then be declared before the 27th of this month.
Soon after the results are declared, the process for the recruitment of primary teachers will begin.
The teachers will be selected under the District level Cadre Recruitment policy.
Under this recruitment policy all the successful candidates of primary teachers who are posted in a particular district will have to work in that district during his whole service period.
There will be no transfer and posting under the new recruitment policy, he said.
