TSA-GHQ cancels NH bandh

In an encouraging turn of an event, the culprits of December 14 Keithelmanbi Military Colony hit and run incident have admitted their fault to TSA-GHQ, today.
Following the goodwill response from the guilty party, TSA-GHQ has withdrawn its proposed National Highway 2 bandh on December 17 and conveyed its gratitude to the Police Department and also the guilty party for their honesty and timely response.
According to TSA, the culprits are from Senapati District and the accident was not intentional but purely accidental while stating that their benevolence response is appreciable.
It, however, said that the further course of action will be discussed in the presence of the victim's family tomorrow at Keithelmanbi to bring about an amicable solution.
TSA-GHQ also said that the body of the deceased will be claimed after the post mortem.
