Koteshwar appointed Addl Judge of Guwahati HC

Nongmiekapam Koteshore, presently the Advocate General of Manipur has been appointed as Additional Judge of the Guwahati High Court by an order of the Government of India for a period of two years.
The same order also appointed Ujjal Bhuyan, Swapan Chandara Das and Prasanta Kumar Saikia as three other Additional Judges of Guwahati High Court for the same period of time with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective office.
Nongmiekapam Koteshore Singh s/o of Late Justice N Ibotombi Singh and Gomati Devi of Uripok Tourangbam Leikai did his schooling from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Purulia (West Bengal) and St Anthony's College, Shillong.
He did his graduation in Political Science from Kirorimal College, Delhi University in 1983 and completed his LLB from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University in 1986.Immediately afterwards he started practicing law which included a brief (1986-88) stint in the Supreme Court of India.
In the year 1992 he was selected for the Commonwealth Young Lawyers Course in 1992 at University of London.
N Koteshwar Singh who has been practicing in the Guwahati High Court in Constitutional Law, Criminal and Civil was appointed Advocate General of Manipur in the year 2008 .
