RPF hits out at NSCN-IM, India govt, calls for unity

While alleging the India government for instigating the NSCN-IM to carry out communal clash among the different communities in the state, the proscribed UG group RPF in a press statement called for unity among the people and revolutionary groups of the different communities residing in the state.
In the statement, RPF alleged that the NSCN-IM under the leadership of Th Muivah has been terrorising the small communities in the state in connivance with the Indian security forces.
As many as 1614 lives have been lost since the early period of 1979 in Yimchunger, Khimniungan, Lotha, Chakenshang, Angami, Sema, Shepoumaramth in Nagaland and many other Zeliangrong and Tangkhul villages in Manipur in the struggle of NSCN-IM.
Besides, more than 300 innocent lives were lost after the organisations entered into the cease fire agreement with the India government.
Moreover, many innocent lives were lost in a factional clash between NSCN-IM and NSCN-K on April 30, 1988.During the Kuki-Naga clash, as much as 534 Kukis and 266 Nagas were killed, 402 persons became handicapped and 5724 houses were destroyed from June 3, 1992 to the last part of 1999.Many innocent lives were also lost during the Meetei-Pangal clash in 1993 which was instigated by the India government secretly, the statement stated while adding that the Meetei Pangals are the natives of Manipur who were born to Meetei women.
Hitting out at the hidden agenda of the India government who supply sophisticated weapons behind the clash between NSCN-IM and ZUF at Khoupum valley, RPF called for unity among the different UG groups in the state and not to become a victim of the secret agenda of the India government who indulge in disuniting the communities in the state.
