SMF organizes mass awareness cum enrollment drive of social development schemes

In a bid to reach out the masses of Patoi Assembly Constituency, Shaheed Madhumangol Foundation (SMF), Tera has organised a mass awareness and enrollment drive of social development schemes today at Children Home, Tera Keithel.
L Tiken Singh, Assistant Superintendent of Post Office, Manipur; Ng Arunkumar Singh, Public Relation Inspector, Post Office, Imphal Head Office; Y Lakhikanta, Overseer (Mail); N Kripananda, Overseer (Mail) of Post Head Office; Samurailatpam Premananda Sharma, Executive Member of Shaheed Madhumangol Foundation and Th Rajen Singh, President of BJP, Patsoi Mandal presided over the function as presidium members.
During the program, L Tiken and Ng Arunkumar spoke about social development schemes of Government of India which are available at Post Office across the country.
They also encouraged the public to join social development schemes for the considering their future well-being and led a secure life.
While, S Premananda said that the NDA government in the Centre had launched various social welfare and development schemes for the public.
However, the state government's machineries failed to reach out to each people and make aware about the benefits of the flagship schemes such as Sukanya Samridhi Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana� etc.
Considering the need for successful implementation of such schemes for economic development of the people, the SMF has initiated to create mass awareness and conduct enrollment drive at different location under the Patsoi Assembly Constituency.
The SMF is planning to enroll around 3000 people from the assembly constituency in the next two months.
Around 200 people, who were gathered at the program, were enrolled to various social development schemes of Government of India.
