Imphal, December 06 2014 :
Even after three years of the suspected murder of Hijam Ningol Loitongbam ongbi Darsana, police has not taken up any FIR in connection with the incident and even the post mortem report was kept concealed from her parents.
This was disclosed by a depressed mother Hijam ongbi Ibemcha during meeting with selected newsmen at his residence at Palace compound Imphal today.
Hijam Ningol Loitongbam ongbi Darsana (25) wife of L Debendrajit (32) alias Yaiskul a resident of Singjamei Mayengbam Leikai was alleged to have committed suicide by hanging at her husband's residence on May 12 in 2011 .
However, her death was in a suspicious manner, as told by her mother Ibemcha.
On March 24 in 2011, her daughter Darsana was forcibly eloped from the street and subsequently married on April 1, narrated Ibemcha, while adding that on May 12 of the same year around 11 am, her daughter was reported dead.
Husband's family claimed that she had hanged herself in her room, which Ibemcha fervently denied.

Continuing her narration, Ibemcha recalled that Darshana had to come back to the parent's house on May 7 of the same year following severe atrocities committed by her husband.
However, the family members managed to send her back to husband's house, as she was married.
Since childhood, Darsana had been good in studies and always stood ranks in the class, stated her mother Ibemcha in a nostalgic tone.
At the time of her marriage, she was studying second semester in M.Sc.
(Life Science) in Manipur University during the academic session 2010-2011 .
Refuting the family's allegation of suicide story, Ibemcha expressed strong apprehension that the family of the husband killed her daughter after committing atrocities on her.
Moreover, no one has so far been arrested and interrogated in connection with the incident, Ibemcha told the newspersons and added that a day before her death, Darsana was talking to her sister Daina in a comfortable mood.
The mother further pointed out that her son-in-law who had earlier claimed to be a Computer Engineer turned out to be an imposter.
Moreover, after the death of Darsana, Debendrajit was remarried to another woman and has now got a child.
Most unfortunate thing is the Police has not taken up any FIR in connection with the incident, Ibemcha disclosed while saying that even the post mortem report has not been revealed.
When she requested some of the advocates to fight the case, they flatly refused to stand for her.
Mother of Darsana, Hijam ongbi Ibemcha urged for a thorough investigation into the incident by a higher authority so as to relieve all the suffering parents of this land.
